Tales of Halloween

Join Indievents and Club David, Wednesday, October 28th, for the South Dakota Premiere of Tales of Halloween.

Named "the best horror anthology since Trick 'r Treat" by Fangoria and "among the best Halloween-themed horror movies ever made" by DailyDead, this critically acclaimed film weaves together ten chilling tales from horror's top directors. Ghosts, ghouls, monsters, and the devil delight in terrorizing unsuspecting residents of a suburban neighborhood on Halloween night.

The list of directors and cast is huge!

Directors are Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, IV), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons (2009)), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy), Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers), Lucky McKee (May, All Cheerleaders Die), Mike Mendez (The Gravedancers, Big Ass Spider!), Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red), Ryan Schifrin (Abominable), John Skipp (A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (writer only)), and Paul Solet (Grace, Dark Summer).

The cast is amazing! Grace Phipps (Dark Summer, Scream Queens), Booboo Stewart (Twilight Saga, X-Men : Days of Future Past), Lisa Marie (Ed Wood, Sleepy Hallow), Greg Grunberg (Heroes), Lin Shayne (Insidious 1, 2), Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Creepshow), Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Keir Gilchrist (It Follows), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, We Are Still Here), Pollyanna McIntosh (The Woman), James Duval (Donnie Darko), Kristina Klebe (Halloween (2007)), round out the cast with cameos from well known horror filmmakers John Landis, Joe Dante, Stuart Gordon, and Mick Garris and newer filmmakers Adam Green (Frozen) and Trent Haaga (Chop)!

Director Mike Mendez will join us live via Skype for audience Q and A after the screening!

Preceding the film will be two award winning Halloween short films hot off this year's horror film fest circuit. The first is "Last Years Halloween Candy" directed by Danny Villanueva Jr. and "A Tricky Treat" directed by Patricia Chica!
