S & M Sally

Join Indievents, and Club David Thursday, August 13th, for the South Dakota Premiere of S & M Sally.

S & M Sally recently made its world premiere in San Francisco's Frameline Film Festival on June 21st, and is becoming very hot in the film festival circuit. We are very privileged to have S & M Sally's writer/producer/director/co-star, Michelle Ehlen, taking time off her busy festival schedule to come to Sioux Falls for the South Dakota Premiere!

S & M Sally is a sequel to the comedy Heterosexual Jill, now available on Netflix, which Michelle also wrote, produced, directed, and co-starred in.

When Jamie finds out her girlfriend Jill has spent time exploring BDSM, her insecurities about falling behind in the bedroom push her to propose that they start going to underground clubs. Jamie decides to use the pseudonym Sally so she can stay anonymous but still look like she's using her real name, which apparently she thinks makes her look cool. Identifying as the butch one in a traditional butch/femme couple, "Sally" assumes she will take the dominant role in their escapades, with Jill as her submissive, but Jill has ideas of her own.

Meanwhile, their friends Lola and David start dating the polyamorous bisexual Sebastian, who proposes to have a threesome. They quickly agree without planning to follow through, expecting the other one to back out first so they can save face with their new boyfriend. A provocative and hilarious ride, S&M Sally details the unexpected journey that happens when your insecurities push you outside of your comfort zone, leading you down a path for which there is no going back.

Writer/producer/director/co-star, Michelle Ehlen will be live in person for Q and A and meet and greet after the screening!

Profits from the screening will be donated to The Common Ground Diversity Center.

The screening will be held at Club David in Sioux Falls on Thursday, August 13, 2015, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $8 in advance and $12 at the door.
