México Bárbaro

Join Indievents and Club David, Wednesday, October 21st, for the South Dakota Premiere of México Bárbaro.

México Bárbaro is a horror anthology film, which brings to life stories that form a part of Mexican culture, and even some that have haunted people's nightmares since childhood, and took away their innocence. The boogeyman, trolls, ghosts, creatures, Aztec sacrifices, and of course their beloved traditions such as Day of the Dead immerse in urban and rural stories.

México Bárbaro has 8 visionary directors, from downtown, north and south of the country, including Mexican residents who live in other countries. All have different life experiences that will give a unique narrative to each of these haunting stories. Directors include Isaac Ezban (The Incident), Laurette Flores Bornn (Bautizo), Jorge Michel Grau (We Are What We Are), Ulises Guzman (Corazones de terciopelo), Edgar Nito (Masacre en San José), Lex Ortega (Atrocious), Gigi Saul Guerrero (El Gigante), and Aaron Soto (33 1/2).

Indievents will be screening the unedited version of this film. It will contain scenes not available in the US release!

The film will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.

The screening will be held at Club David in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets at Club David, Zandbroz, The Last Stop CD Shop, or online at EventBrite (click button below).
