Join Indievents, and Club David Wednesday, July 8th, for the South Dakota Premiere of Homemakers.

Homemakers has done well on the film festival circuit. It has played at over a dozen festivals and The Audience Award at Independent Film Festival Boston and Best Narrative Feature at the Lone Star Film Festival.

Part-time Austin indie rocker and full-time harbinger of chaos IRENE McCABEY breaks up with her girlfriend and arrives in Pittsburgh to claim her inheritance: the crumbling, abandoned three-story row house built by her great-grandfather.

With the help of a drinking buddy who happens to be her long lost cousin, Irene attempts a boozy restoration project and discovers in the forgotten home a hidden urge to settle down, but when shit gets shitty, Irene's newfound domesticity may not be strong enough to subdue the rampaging child within.

Live Q and A via Skype with writer/director Colin Healy will follow the screening.

The screening will be held at Club David in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $8 in advance and $12 at the door.

All profits made will be donated to the Sioux Falls AIDS Walk Benevolence fund.
