Frankenstein's Hungry Dead

Join us on Wednesday, October 22nd for the South Dakota premier of the award winning horror film Frankenstein's Hungry Dead. Frankenstein's Hungry Dead (originally titled: Dr. Frankenstein's Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead) won the Gore Award, Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Actor at the TerrorCon Film Festival earlier this year (June 2014). As well as several awards at the 2013 Motif Theater & Film Awards.

Halloween Night 1983: A group of teens break into a wax museum for a night of fun but instead find a gruesome secret awaiting them deep in the basement.

Doctor Frankenstein himself has been piecing together the ultimate monster and creating a small army of the dead with the leftovers.

Now, the teenagers must stop Frankenstein and his growing zombie horde or be sewn into the legendary mad doctor's latest masterpiece!

Wild Eye Releasing is excited about the screening and is sending some DVDs and limited edition VHS tapes of some of their other titles to raffle as prizes!

Preceding the film will be Brian Benson's short film, A Hole Where My Hole Was. In this homage to John Waters and horror films, Cousin Wonderlette takes a job as an elderly caretaker in a very creepy house. Watch for references to dozens of classic horror films.

Live Q and A via Skype with writer/producer/director/editor Richard Griffin will follow the screening.

The screening will be held at Club David in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $6 in advance and $10 at the door.
